    Team members' publications and research interests.

    Read the descriptions of the team's past projects on "Sight and Sound in Shakespeare" (1993-1996), "Shakespeare and Modernism" (1996-1999), and "Performances of Character: Shakespeare, Theatre, and Critical Practice" (2003-2006). The volume Shakespeare and Character, arising from the last team project, was published in January 2009.

    Team leader Paul Yachnin has also organized a collaborative research project for the SSHRC-MCRI program, titled "Making Publics: Media, Markets, and Association in Early Modern Europe, 1500-1700", and has co-founded the McGill Shakespeare Moot Court Project.     The team's current FQRSC-funded research project, now in the fourth of four years, is titled "Language Incorporated: Culture Markets, Actors' Bodies, and Shakespeare's World of Words."
